First thing's first. If I was Heidi Montag's mother, and my daughter's boyfriend spoke to me the way Spencer Pratt spoke to her on last night's episode of The Hills, I would have reached across the table, grabbed him by his scrawny little neck and knocked the snot out of him.
Then I would've insisted that my "grown up" 21 year old daughter return with me to Crested Bute, Colorado immediately and stay the hell out of that losers life!
Spencer was so unbelievably rude to Mrs. Montag during their lunch together, and to make it worse, Heidi defended him during her lunch with her mom.
Pratt is the biggest weasle I have ever seen, it's no wonder the only person he has in his life is Heidi, and she doesnt even seem to like him most of the time.
And speaking of weasley Pratts, Stephanie did a terrible job of hiding her relationship with Doug from Lauren.
Steph blamed Doug, saying he used her to get back at Lauren. Doug blamed Steph saying he only hung out with her because he felt bad for her and she was a lost little puppy.
And in the end, Lauren learned the truth about them both.
Personally I think it got blown out of proportion a bit, I mean it's not like Lauren really liked Doug much or anything, but it was just the principle of the situation.
Just one more funny tid bit about last night's amazing episode. Whitney getting splashed by Doug at his pool party....and being SO mad about it! Lighten up Whitney. haha
On last night's episode of The Hills, Audrina Patridge became the catty gossip that everyone else usually is.
Usually Audrina is one of my favourites, because she doesn't let herself get caught up in too much drama and she's pretty down to earth.
But last night, Stephanie Pratt dropped by the Conrad Estate, while Lauren was off on a family vacation to Italy, to ask relationship advice from Audrina.
She-Pratt wondered if Audrina thought it would be ok for her to go out on a date with Doug, LC's ex of one week.
Audrina was aloof, as usual, and left the decision up to Steph. But as soon as that meeting was over - ALL of Los Angeles knew Stephanie was planning this secret rendez vous!
It started with Patridge's lunch date with Lo - which, FYI, the girls are now friendly! Audrina decided it would be a good idea to let Lo in on Stephanie's plan. Hello - that's going straight to Lauren!
The rumour mill continued when Audrina ran into Heidi at the popular club GOA, and then continued to discuss the issue the next night at a work event Heidi invited Audrina and Justin Bobby to.
And then again when she shared the news with her co-worker Chaira.
Dont get me wrong, Lauren would've found out about this news regardless, but it was just so weird to see Audrina so gossipy!
Doesn't look good on you girl. Personally, I think it's Lo's influence, now that theyre buddy-buddy.
I knew Lauren had her own fashion line. I heard through the grapevine that she doesnt actually design the clothes herself.
But I am shocked to announce that she was asked to design dressses for last night's Emmy Awards!
The dresses she designed were for the women handing out statues. In an interview before the show she was quoted as saying, "I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple
classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie
twist."
Another up and coming designer who was asked to design some pieces for the show was Project Runway's winner Christian Siriano.
The reality star winner, known for his "fierce" design, said of Conrad's line (and other Hills "designers"), "I mean, it's fun and flirty and young, but they're
not innovators. None of them will ever be an innovative designer.
Buyers and editors are looking for longevity, and hopefully they will
see that in me."
After watching the show I wonder who's dresses were whose?
Either way, good step up kids! You designed dresses for people that no one pays attention to.
We all know there are a million reasons why we think Spencer Pratt is a douchebag.
But I thought I'd highlight the reasons why Heidi is an even bigger idiot than he. Once you read the following, I think you'll find it hard to argue.
1. Heidi moved in with Spencer even after she had crazy trust issues with him and had
first-hand seen him flirting with other girls, and knew he was after
Audrina. - Ya remember those days?
2. Heidi stood up for Spencer when he spread sex tape rumours about Lauren. In the process of doing so she lost her best friend.
Who stands up for someone who would do such a sleezeball thing to your best friend just because they didnt get along?
3. Heidi went along with the insanely immature move of yelling at Lauren and Jason from across a restaurant, asking them if they planned on making any more sex tapes.
4. Heidi left Las Vegas, during the biggest career opportunity of her life, to appease Spencer who came to claim "his property" when he found out she had flown out there.
5. And finally, she continues to allow Spencer to disrespect her and her sister Holly by being rude and making ridiculous comments about Holly staying with them while trying to find a place.
Now obviously Spencer is the cause of all of these crazy scenarios. But Heidi does nothing but stick by the loser!
A few things worth discussing happened on The Hills, episode 6 last night, but none, however, as important as the moustache on Lauren's face that would not go away! Did anyone else notice this?
The entire time LC talked to Whitney at People's Revolution about her mending friendship with Audrina, or her lengthy discussion at school with Stephanie about how she misses her friendship with Heidi, all I could focus on was what appeared to be a moustache!
It could've been a shadow - but throughout the whole show! I dont know - a little Nair goes a long way, thats all I'm sayin'.
So other happenings last night, Lo was actually civil and pleasant last night, tagging along with Lauren to one of Audrina's rock shows.
She didnt look like she was having an overly good time, but I dont think that matters. The fact that she went and wasnt being a complete b*!@# was good enough for me.
Justin Bobby is up to his old disappearing act again. Audrina asked him to attend the same show Lo turned up for, and he was just a complete no show, not returning any of her text messages or anything. When will this poor girl learn - ditch the dirtball.
And lest we forget, the best opener of a show ever - Spencer being just about as rude to a person as it gets to Heidi's sister Holly.
He's a classy guy! Great for publicity though, I'll give him that.
Which leads me to my last point for this episode. Holly asks LC to go to lunch with her and I think she's trying to play match maker for Heidi and Lauren!
I'm not sure it's going to work though - thats a lot of water to get under that bridge.
