We've learned today that Timbaland quizzed Justin Timberlake on doing an album with Britney Spears. Our source gives us the following rumored conversation between Justin and Timbaland:

“I’m the type of person who tries to save the world,” Timbaland said. “I just want to take her away, go overseas and work [it] out. … I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney?’ … ‘Would you do it with me?’ ” Timbaland told the magazine that JT was willing to get involved. “She’s just gotta be serious.”

Awww Timbaland SAVING THE WORLD!?!?!?!? Shall we review? Britney Spears pop icon, party girl, in rehab. Your goal is to revive her career and in your mind that's SAVING THE WORLD.

Saving the world involves reduction of black market weapons, peace in the middle east, poverty elimination, reduction of 3rd world debt, solving the AIDS crisis, reducing crime in inner cities, universal health care, peace and harmony among all human beings.

Getting Britney back into a music career just doesn't qualify. People wonder why we hate celebrities so much and so often. There ya go.
