Oprah Winfrey, talk show guru, is throwing out some fighting words in response to the Chris Brown and Rihanna saga that has been plugging our celebrity airwaves for the past few weeks. On Friday’s show, oprah had a very serious moment looking into the cameras and expressed to all the “Rihanna’s” of the world” and to Rihanna herself, that “Love doesn’t hurt, and if he hit you once he will hit you again” Plain simple and to the point. Oprah went on to beg Rihanna to seek counselling.
Oprah and Harpo Productions has gone even further to show their concern for the R&B Songrstress by planning an entire show on domestic violence this coming week and stressed that 1 fo 4 women in the United stated are being abused by their significant other.
In other Chris and Rihanna news, Diddy has come forward to denfend himself and said that he feels that he was set up by Chris Brown and says he had no idea the singer would use his Miami compound to reconcile with Rihanna. (Whatever Diddy, the fact that Chris beat his girl down should have been reason enough to say Heck no you can’t stay here)
I’m wondering how much money Oprah will be making on this one show and I also wonder is doing it for the sake of having a show about domestic violence because it’s an epicemic or is she doing it for ratings and because it’s a celeb that was beat down by her celeb boyfriend. This keeps getting more interesting. I also wonder what Rihanna thinks about all of this. Only time will tell.
