Now we know that the popular Jersey Shore will be back for
season 2 - after some hard negotiations the cast had with MTV. The original
deadline has now passed - MTV has told everyone that if they don't accept
$10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode, they will be replaced. The cast
laughed at the offer and decided to stand united holding out for an undisclosed
price. Then MTV increased the offer to $10,000 per episode (there are 12
episodes in a season) and reported that they already have replacements for
those who choose not to accept the offer.
After all the guessing and fan tension, announcement was
made on January 30th and the entire gang will be back for Season 2.
Pauly D, The Situation, Snooki, J-WOWW, Sammi, Ronni and Vinny will return in
the summer but get this: Not to New Jersey! The show wants to escape the cold
Northeast and reach a new destination. And we are assuming that each cast
member will be getting the $10,000 per episode, since that is what was reported
as the last figure. The cast took the same approach that the cast of "Friends"
took way back when - everybody gets the same or nobody does the show.
Where are they moving to? Stay tuned for that
important announcement!
