Rumor has it that Sir George Clooney and Paris Hilton are an item. If it’s up to anyone (including me) who finds Sir George to be the hottest male celeb over the age of 40, this will more than likely be crowned the most unbelievable hookup of 2009.

Seems that 47-year-old Sir George is an Oscar-winning, typically brunette-preferring, two-time Sexiest Man Alive, who split from Las Vegas cocktail waitress Sarah Larson in May.
Hilton, 27, who call it quits with "best friend" Benji Madden in November. The stars spotted out together twice in Los Angeles last month.
The first sighting took place on Dec. 19 at the Whiskey Bar, where George and Paris supposedly chitchatted, downed drinks, flashed their pearly whites and maintained constant eye contact. (Someone please slap me and say it’s all a really bad nightmare)

The now porn-stache-free Sir George spent the holidays working on his perma-tan in Mexico with pals Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and Paris did her best to boost Australia's economy by going on a shopping spree before her New Year's Eve hosting gig in Sydney, according to tabloid Life & Style "they definitely plan to get together in the New Year."
