We got all excited here in the GH compound when we first heard from US Magazine that Linsday Lohan and Samantha Ronson were engaged in a steamy lesbian relationship. Only to have our fantasies dashed by Michael Lohan (thanks alot Mike!):

"I was talking about what Dina [Lohan]'s show is all about, but they left that part off," he said referring to a story which quotes him saying he thought the Lohan-Ronson relationship "is evident to anyone with half a brain."

"I was saying that it's evident the show is not about being a mom and a manager, the show's not about Ali, it's about Dina [Lohan]."

Michael Lohan said he had not seen any photos of his daughter and Ronson nuzzling necks in France recently.

Nor would it matter to him if his daughter were gay.

"Lindsay's life choices are up to her," he said. "I don't get involved in my daughter's personal life.

"They're friends, they're always together. I hug my friends, does that make me a homosexual? Of course not."

Lohan said he has also not seen images of Lindsay re-creating Marilyn Monroe's last nude photo shoot.

"I haven't seen any pictures of her and Samantha, nor did I look at the Marilyn Monroe pictures," he said. "A father never wants to see those things."

As far as we are concerned over here, Lindsay really should be bisexual, then everything in the universe would make sense and we could be very very happy.

Shania Twain is recovering from her split with music producer husband Robert "Mutt" Lange, sources close to the couple say Lange's other woman is actually one of the Grammy Award-winning singer's best friends.

The "other" woman is rumored to be Marie-Anne Thiebaud, 37, a secretary and house manager at the estranged couple’s Swiss estate

"Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship," says one source. "Their two families would vacation and spend holidays together. Shania considered Marie-Anne one of her best friends."

I'm pretty sure most of my straight buddies are jumping for joy at the new singleness of Shania. It does definitely suck to know that your "best friend" and "husband" have been romping around behind your back. Get out there Shania, and let us know if you need any hookups. Something tells me that shouldn't be a problem you little hottie!

Melbourne artist Vincent Fantauzzo had been putting the finishing touches on his painting of the star at his Docklands studio on Tuesday. Wednesday he found out Heath Ledger had tragically passed away. Click on the image or right here for the larger image size.

Fantauzzo painted Ledger with the intention of entering the portrait in the prestigious Archibald Prize later this year. But the newly finished work got an early showing yesterday, when, with the approval of the Ledger family, Fantauzzo released the image to the media.

Ledger sat for Vincent Fantauzzo on his last visit home to Perth in December of last year.

Over at Gossip Highway we're still waiting with anticipation to see Heath Ledger as The Joker in the upcoming Batman franchise movie.

This is seriously breaking news.

From our friends at the AP: Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence, and police said drugs may have been a factor. He was 28. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment believed to be his home.

The housekeeper who went to let him know the masseuse had arrived found him dead at 3:26 p.m.

Rest in Peace Heath. Our condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Looks like one of Hollywood's messiest fights is getting downright dirty. We're looking at it this way, if you think your relationship might be dramatic and messy at times, look at the mud that's being slung back and forth here. The alleged emails (and wow...really!):

From Charlie to Denise:

It was only a matter of time but it looks like good ol' Britney has lost physical custody of her kids. Now the question is, can she lose physical custody of herself.

No wait a second, she's already done that. According to the LA District Court judge, Kevin Federline is to "retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court."

It gets messier and messier.

The Queen of Useless - Paris Hilton is sad and pouting once again. This time David Letterman made her sad, when she stuck out her bottom lip and pouted Dave actually fell for it and backed down. We were hoping that he would've given her a few more verbal daggers.

Despite the fact that she's an embarassment to women everywhere she's also about as smart as a tree stump - but when the tree stump and Paris went head to head in a debate on U.S. Foreign Policy and International Relations the stump got Paris on pronunciation of Ahmadinejad (not that we can pronounce it either).

Maybe next time Paris, but we doubt it.
