MTV is on a roll this week with, first, the season premiere of The HIlls on Tuesday night, and now, the season premiere of The City last night.

Whitney Port is back - minus a few friends, and plus a few new ones.

Luckily Olivia Palermo is still kickin around the show, and she came back last night with a vengance. "The Bitch is Back" should've been the title for this socialite snob's return in The City.
Palermo was, for whatever reason, offered a job in the "accessories department" at Elle Magazine. Her first task was to pull two looks that were to be looks for cheap.
After shopping around "for quite a while" it was impossible for her to come up with a swimwear look for under $25 as she was instructed. When her new boss Erin explained why what Olivia had pulled would not work for the piece she flew off the handle!

She carried on about how she'd done what she could and it wasnt her job to do anymore! A tiff ensued between the two girls and a poor innocent intern was stuck in the middle unsure of what the hell to do!

Now to the main character, Whitney Port. Whit has given up her job at DVF and gone back to work with good old Kelly Catrone.
She also has taken in a long time friend from LA Roxy, who you may remember as Stephanie Pratt's friend from back in the day when Steph would randomly yell at Lauren in clubs.
Roxy has turned up in New York for a fresh start in fashion, which sweet little Whitney is getting her a start at, offering her her couch to sleep on and a great reference with her boss Kelly.

How does Roxy repay her? She throws a massive party at her apartment despite Whitney's pleading her to stop it.

I'm not sure I enjoy this show as much as The Hills, but it's definitely an MTV favourite.

"The Bitch is Back" indeed!!

Last night's much anticipated return of season 6 of The HIlls came back without Lauren Conrad, and stronger than ever!

Within the first three minutes of the show Kristin Cavallari, formerly from Laguna Beach and the new star of The Hills, swore 8 times and picked a fight with both Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt.

The episode highlighted Kristin doing what she does best, moving in on forbidden men. This week's forbidden man is none other than Justin Bobby. He's back and scruffier than ever!
In a surprising move, however, Kristin did try to look at the situation from Justin's ex-girlfriend, Audrina's point of view, and admitted she understood how she might feel if Kristin were to start dating J.B.
Immediately after saying this though, and making us think maybe she's grown up a bit from her slutty Laguna days, she re-neg'd and carried on with her relentless flirting.

Other than this storyline, the show highlighted the newly weds Spencer and Heidi Pratt house hunting for a nice family house.
Heidi preferred the "classic" house with a white picket fence and a nursary. Spencer however, preferred the "porno pad" style of house, which he put a deposit on for the summer without telling his new wife first.
Their marriage is just like their dating relationship - shocker!

This season's shaping up to be the best in a while, featuring more than guest appearances by Brody's playmate girlfriend Jade and Spencer's "bartender girlfriend" Stacey.

According to law enforcement sources, there are two secret videos that have captured the alleged extortionists in big conflict - one accusing the other of trying to settle for too little.

Authorities have couple of videos of paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and attorney Pleasant Bridgewater, that capture the demand for millions of dollars in return for not making certain documents public.

It appears that Lightbourne is outraged that Bridgewater demanded too little - but it was reported that the pair demanded $25 million and allegedly settled on $15 million.

They are expected to make a motion in the court to suppress the videos. Reason? They were apparently recorded illegally. Sure.....

To top this ridiculous situation, the key cop from Bahamian police was apparently seriously injured "under suspicious circumstances" and will not be able to testify.

And John Travolta? He said what he had to and left the Bahamas. It is expected that he will be returning next week complete his testimony.

And the document they were going to reveal to public? Pretty obvious that it was irrelevant - all it did is release medical professionals in the Bahamas from liability if John Travolta decided to fly his son to Florida for medical help.

Just another ridiculous situation and too bad John has to deal with it after loosing his child!

Weeks after he was found dead in Thunderbird Motel in British Columbia, Ryan Jenkins will be remembered by family and close friends in a private memorial. The invitations were sent by Ryan's father, Dan Jenkins, for the service to be held October 1 in Calgary. I am not saying that criminals shouldn't be remembered - but - personally - this would be the day I would call in sick.

A large public memorial is scheduled for Jenkin's wife - murdered swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore for October 4^th in Las Vegas.

Latest report from the Buena Park Police confirmed that they have received the computer hard drive found with Ryan Jenkins in the motel room where he hung himself in August. Royal Canadian Mounted Police handed  the hard drive over and it is supposed to have information on it that will clear unanswered questions about the murder.

So it is expected that the case will close in a few weeks - stay tuned for final report on this ugly, ugly story.

Did you know they had to get married on Sunday? So they did and everyone was all smiles, even though the Los Angeles Lakers star and the Kardashian clan reality show star are facing somewhat of a roadblock right away.

First - they got married after dating for only one month - can't quite figure out what the rush was! Especially since there is a bit of problem with the prenup. Lamar wanted one and found out that they had to get married on a Sunday, because one of the Kardashian's reality shows is footing the $1 million bill for the wedding and the deal is that the wedding must be shot on a Sunday.

So of course - lawyers got involved and since there wasn't enough time to work out the details of the prenup, the decision was that it will be signed after the wedding.

Here is the hitch - there is a rumour that the Sunday wedding might not be the real deal and that it could be a non-biding ceremony. I guess the rule is that bride and groom don't say "I Do" until after the signatures are on the document. Sure - that makes sense when you think about it - imagine what misunderstanding could come up if it was the other way around!

So - obviously - the lawyers are already arguing and hitting road blocks.

Go figure.....

The famous blonde needs to remember that she not the star on Baywatch anymore - or better said - she should have taken that into consideration some time ago.

She is reportedly in major financial trouble!  And the hole is huge - 1.2 million bucks. In addition to unpaid taxes of $252,360, she owes a pile to construction companies who renovated her Malibu home last year.

One construction company alone - Bruder Construction has already filed $674,043 lien against Pamela for costs including labour, materials and subcontractors.

So it sounds like she is in big trouble - and we have to wonder if she even knows how to live within her means!

The daughter of late John Phillips of the Mamas and Papas fame just released her book and in it a shocking accusations about her 10 year incestuous relationship with her father.

Right after that, her stepmom Michelle Phillips very angrily spoke up on the subject. She says that Mackenzie told everyone in the family about the relationship in 1997 - but also claimed that she was joking. But Michelle didn't appreciate the humour and was angry about it then - MacKenzie just shrugged it off with a comment that the two of them have a different sense of humour. Really? It's a good guess that the girl had a very different sense of humour from most!

But she is explaining now - stating that she doesn't consider her father to be a monster for abusing her. She says he was a tortured man who led a tortured existence. And the reason she kept quiet about it? Apparently she didn't want to wreck his legacy.

And that explanation doesn't make Michelle any less angry. She is down right furious with MacKenzie - agreing that John was a bad parent and a drug addict but vigorously denying that he would be capable of having a sexual relationship with his own daughter. She is also very critical of Oprah, for having MacKenzie on her show, stating that if the claim is true, MacKenzie should be with a good psychiatrist - not on a television show. She is convinced that MacKenzie has a lot of mental illness from 35 year drug and alcohol abuse and the proof is her arrest not long ago for heroin and coke possession.

She did "celebrity Rehab". And now she writes a book - how is that for timing to make some extra cash? That is how Michelle feels - but honestly? Mackenzie's confession is so terrible and gut-wrenching that it would be hard to imagine her doing it for money or attention. And if it is for that reason, than she needs more help that I could possibly imagine.

The extortion trial dealing with John Travolta son's death will kick into high gear today when John himself will be called as the first witness. And it could be what you call "the smoking gun", because there are expectations of legal dogfight after he is done testifying.

It is full expected that the defense lawyers will put forward an objection to the introduction of secret videotape that has the attempted extortion. This is the video that was recorded by authorities in Bahamas and what you would see are Travolta's lawyers, listening to the alledged $25 million plan.

Former state senator/attorney Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne pretty much threatened to release some documents connected to Jett's death unless Travolta anted up.

Hmmm.... all can ad is that I am thinking this will turned out to be more interesting than I originally thought. So - stay tuned!

So far, it's a guy who "allegedly" robbed her. But there is more information coming out and several people who worked with her on the movie "Labour Pains" are saying that they definitely saw Nick Prugo on the set - with Lindsay. And apparently not just once! Nobody really knows if the guy was at Lindsay's house before the burglary, but does that really matter? The 18-year old, who was arrested for burglarizing Lindsay's house has been in trouble before. Latest arrest - cocaine charge earlier this year. And he is to be back in court on those charges in November. And then - last month - he was arrested  in Beverly Hills for DUI. And to top this off - according to the police, he is also a suspect in the Audrina Patridge break-in.

Looks like he will have his hands full dealing with all that mess - the question is: with all those charges, how was he out on the street and what's it going to take to keep him locked up so he learns a lesson or two?

  That sometimes crazy and emotionally charged judge from America's Got Talent needed paramedics and ambulance to retrieve him from his Encino home on Sunday night.

His daughter Hayley, who is 17 years old ,who was home with David, ended up calling her mother Pamela, claiming that her dad was extremely drunk. It was one of Pamela's friends who called 911, sending paramedics to the home. And tha claim must have been justified, since they took Hasselhoff to the hospital.

The story goes that the hospital was going to release him Sunday night, but since there are no comments from the official Hasselhoff camp or his reps - we just don't know how this turned out. Either way - not a pretty story! Just check out the photo..... the guy does have a problem I'd say!
